  The goal of the Research Unit is to produce information that will assist the decision-making of Office Managers by providing them with accurate quantitative information. My unit produces roughly 40 reports a month. Reports include information on filings, rejections, dispositions, and sentences. Each Vertical Unit receives monthly reports about unit activity. The unit supports grants and on going evaluations in the office.   The Gang Incident Tracking System (GITS) collected and analyzed gang-related crime from all law enforcement agencies in Orange County, California. I served as primary contact for Orange County law enforcement, Orange County Chiefs’ and Sheriff’s Association and representative to the Juvenile Justice and Gang Strategy Steering Committee.
