I got a call last September from Mervi, the CEO of OEP. During the discussion she shared with me what their future seemed alike and asked if I would be interested to join them. In the discussion we agreed how to combine my tasks as an entrepreneur and the role of senior adviser.I'm helping OEP team and their customers in developing solutions for VET. Building competence based, internationally competitive education solutions is a challenge and an honour I love. My experiences as vocational teacher, education manager, principal, curriculum developer combined with a wide education in the field is now utilised to its' maximum.Taking in consideration local cultural features and adapting Finnish best practices to those is part of my work and role.Learning together with our team and with our customers, that is they key for ongoing development and, eventually, for better societies and learning opportunities worldwide. Not to forget, that it is also the tool to take care of our environment.
