During my time working as a medical coordinator for a large event planning company, I specialized in the coordination of medical supplies and personnel at events with over 60,000 attendees. One of my key responsibilities was to ensure that the event had a fully operational mobile medical facility with a triage area of 50 chairs, 60 medical beds, and 6 critical care beds. As part of my role, I was responsible for the set up and tear down of the mobile medical facility, ensuring that it was fully stocked with all necessary medical equipment and supplies, and that it met all safety and health standards. I also oversaw the placement of medical personnel throughout the facility, ensuring that there were sufficient staff available to handle any medical emergencies that might arise. In addition to my responsibilities related to the mobile medical facility, I was also responsible for managing the medical inventory for the event. As an exercise physiologist I am responsible for conducting a variety of tests designed to asses the overall physical fitness levels of fire fighters. These tests include respiratory testing, ECG testing, and strength testing, among others. One of my primary responsibilities in this role is to administer respiratory tests to firefighters, which involved using specialized equipment to measure their lung function and capacity. I also conduct ECG testing, which involved monitoring the electrical activity of their hearts to ensure that they were functioning properly. In addition to these tests, I was responsible for assessing firefighters' overall strength and fitness levels through a variety of exercises and assessments. This included tests of cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and overall strength.
