Head of Operations for St. Patrick's Festival, Ireland's largest national 5-day festival featuring the Festival Parade which takes place in Dublin city centre and attracts an audience of around 450,000 each year. Medical Co-ordinator/ Major Duty Manager for a number of large events and festivals.The role involved managing relationships with the client, writing of the medical plan, providing input into the Event Management Plan, budgeting, management of all medical, logistics, admin and welfare personnel at the event, health and safety, emergency management planning, attending all planning meetings and interacting with all the statutory agencies. In 2018 I was tasked with managing the medical teams for the Papal visit and World Meeting of Families events in Dublin. This was a project management role and I was responsible for leading a large management team and coordinating over 500 medical personnel in multiple locations nationwide.
