  When Microsoft took over the phone development, I continued to work with Windows phone organization. Working with booting, emergency flashing, general HW initialization, some production features and over all setting to be done before boot up the Windows. Work includes supplier release integration, debugging and own modifications and additions making for our HW. Biggest achievement is the boot error reporting adding to supplier’s code, used in production, R&D and care. For good user experience, I am proud how the phone is behaving when battery is totally flat and phone had to be started with changer. Show less

  Started work on Nokia Mobile phones with HW Test Software, after some months moved to work with booting for both S40 and S60 products. When S40 and S60 was divided, I continued working for S40 products. When S40 development was announced to end in Salo, I moved to Windows phone organization. Here also working with booting, emergency flashing, general HW initialization, some production features and over all setting to be done before boot up the Windows. Work includes supplier release integration, debugging and own modifications and additions making for our HW. Also adding features for boot error reporting and for production. Biggest achievement was first USB low level battery charging with charger type detection and charging control for S40/S60 platforms. Show less

Last project was fully integrated digital terrestrial/cable TV-receiver. This was running on Lextra core, on top of Nucleus real time operating system, with all the digital signal handling on same core. Biggest my idea thing what was added during the analog tv signal time was searching, naming and storing the automatically found TV channels to predefined order for each country.
