I was able to create a clientele from managing the gym to bring to the yoga program. I was accountable for creating yoga classes to satisfy the Bolder customers. I themed classes around certain muscle groups to accompany climbers.

Bolder Climbing Community hired me as the Front Desk and Cafe Manager. As I was the first employee to the company and manager I was accountable to working closely with the owners to create standards for the staff. Here I was able to present my multitasking and organization skills toward the front desk and the cafe. Eventually I started to run the yoga program, setting up classes and teaching. Being the first employee I came across difficulties with creating a standard for the company. It did not last long and soon with the owners perspectives we were able to create the organization and policies we expected within the gym.Successfully I managed both the front desk and the cafe at the same time during shift. I was able to take tasks off the hands of the owners and was given trust to accomplish the needed tasks toward the gym and staff. I started the yoga program and did promotions for both the cafe and yoga. These promotions allowed for more clients to the gym and the yoga program.

The Coup brought a beautiful light to working with creative people in Calgary. At The Coup I was the barista who worked hand and hand will all the staff on shift. As I would make speciality drinks I also multitasked with answering the phone and receiving take out orders. In this position I was dealing with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff and customers on a regular bases within my position. Difficulties I over came during my position was the multitasking during rushes. I learned fast the importance of creating methods that would allow me to answer the phone while having multiple drinks to make at the same time. These difficulties allowed me to gain more knowledge in multitasking and time management. I also was able to give my skills in customer service to the customers and learn more problem solving skills with customers. As I am taking hospitality in school I gained experience from this position towards the food and beverage industry of my education.

At A1 Contractors Est 1987 I am accountable for the management of the front office and the marketing of the company. I am to lead the operations of the front office, dealing with clients and the staff with my skills in leadership. I manage the marketing department working closely with the operator and owner of the company to promote A1 and its integrity to our clients. I became part of the marketing team during a rebrand of the company so there were many new challenges the company faced while in this process. My highlights with the company are the many years of experience I have within the company. I starting from an entry level labourer and eventually making my way up to the position I am today as manager. I know the different positions and perspectives from every angle of the company from the experience myself and working with the owner. In the last year working as the management of the office and marketing I have sufficiently created a new way of organizing the office affairs to be noticeably more efficient. For the marketing of the company our leads have gone up 25% due to the new marketing promotions put into effect while as manager.

FOCUS become part of WSP a year after I had finished my position as a CAD Drafter. For this company I was responsible for land surveying drafting. I also collaborated with the Engineers, Pipeline Drafters and Project Mangers. I demonstrated my civil engineering education to design templates and communicate in the construction industry. There was one project where my group faced a difficult deadline. This challenge gave me the opportunity to step up and discover my manager skills. I had the opportunity to delegate where the drawings were to go and to have the final pieces come together. I learned that I enjoy leading with understanding and motivation. I succeeded as a drafter with the ability to communicate with many departments. My customer services skills allowed me to communicate and problem solve with many people within my office. I gained skills on the computer and attention to details that I was able to display in this position. We worked on multiple pipeline projects to deliver drawings to the many companies we worked for.
