I have retired a few years ago from the building business and am now concentrating on designing and building custom furniture, wood turnings on the wood lathe, such as, various designs of bowls, apothecary style jars, Lazy Susan, etc, along with a customers designs. I have designed PVC flower holders with various designs to accommodate garden arrangements that the flower enthusiast wishes to display for contest presentations.I also designed an LBTH (Leaf Bag Trash Holder) created with 3/4" PVC a number of years ago to help me clean up the job sites that I worked at with my assistants. It is called the "SquareHole2005", which I continue to use to aid clean up in the garden and yard. It is a great asset in cleaning up since I designed it to eliminate any lower back pain as much as possible. I co-designed and constructed a prototype of the product that my son, Adam, initially designed, while he was working as an Adaptive Physical Educator in Northern Virginia School system attending to physical handicapped children. It is called the "Adapt-A- Bowl". The students really love to play with it, and as the name indicates, it is a form of bowling for students who are in wheelchairs.
