Originally employed as a facilities assistant in January 2009 I was promoted by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society to Facilities Assistant Manager. Within this role I am responsible for managing our maintenance team and the work requests we have issued by the varying departments across the Great Yorkshire Showground. Within this role I project plan and oversee all maintenance and construction projects on site. This can be from general maintenance to new build construction projects. I am expected to check and sign off all work ensuring that it is to industry standard and quality is always of the highest levels. Also I must keep projects to tight time scales ensuring that completion comes within set timescales and budgetary requirements. Within these work streams I have to ensure staffing is at required levels and Health and Safety legistlations are met at all times. I have experience within the construction industry as I have previously ran a maintenance and construction company with high levels of success. I am a hard working and dedicated individual, I have a keen eye for detail and always expect the highest levels of quality and dedication from myself and my team. Show less
