Lead Colorado State University’s new Spur campus in north Denver. Create strategy, and oversee programs, partnerships, and operations at CSU Spur, which is inspiring life-long learners to engage in global challenges in food, water, health, and sustainability. Spur hosts more than 70,000 visitors annually.Speak publicly frequently, and host a podcast, CSU Spur of the Moment, taking the mystery out of careers in food, water, health and sustainability. Focus on community engagement and place-making, including facilitating CSU’s Anchor Institution work for the Spur campus, connecting us with surrounding neighborhoods to meet their educational needs. Team has developed partnerships with 20+ organizations serving surrounding communities and partnership with local schools. Engage and inspire university presidents, administrators, faculty and staff across all three CSU campuses and across disciplines to integrate sustainability into university operations.
