I lead a project team that developed the I.T. technical requirements for the infrastructure buildout in the new building as well as all server, wireless network, and PC workstations specifications. Our team developed the RFP requirements for the various skill groups reviewed the RFP responses, and selected the best vendor for the work. We then worked with the building contractor to manage the infrastructure build out and validated that the infrastructure was ready for use. I then lead the project team to install all the I.T. systems and networking, conducted infrastructure system testing, and application system testing. We migrated required data from existing systems, trained end users, and then deployed all the equipment and applications in the new facility with zero defects, At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic when staff members went home to work, the system easily accommodated the greatly increased VPN access workload even though heavy VPN workload was not part of the original design criteria.
