Working with Jesper as my manager at Microsoft for almost 2 years, I can truly say that this is the case. During my time with Jesper at Microsoft, he has mastered the skill of managing a team of individual contributors who were distributed over Western Europe (UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Nordics, Netherlands). Nevertheless, Jesper has created a true team spirit within that virtual team while at the same time fostering an atmosphere of trust, and challening me in a positive way led to me hitting and exceeding my sales targets constantly during this tenure.
