I have been lucky enough to work with Jennifer on a number of projects over the past five years, starting when she was at Hodes and continuing after she started smallnormous. Jennifer is one of those people who seems to be good at everything, incredibly competent as a creative director, wise in the ways of marketing and brand management, and truly gifted as a writer. She has a deep understanding of today's marketing landscape and is able to create and manage content that resonates with people and gets results. I worked with her on the revamp of several complex websites, and I am always amazed at how much I learn just by watching what she does and reading what she writes. On top of her considerable talents, Jennifer is also just a great a person who is compassionate, caring and always willing to help. She has made a huge difference in my life and I am very grateful to consider her a colleague, mentor and friend. Jennifer Coker is a special talent indeed, and her love for her work (not to mention her ability) shines through in everything she does.

Jennifer was my Creative Director during my time at VaynerMedia and I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, friendly, and talented colleague. Jennifer's feedback was always so helpful and really encouraged us to bring our own "personal flavor" to each and every project. I hope we can work together again someday soon!

Jennifer and I worked closely together as I was a designer and she was my creative director. During the design review process, Jennifer's feedback was always backed up by solid design experience. I was never left in the dark about why a decision was made to make a change or update to a piece of work. As we worked more closely together, I began to understand Jennifer wasn't just a great creative director, but she was truly invested in the designers she looked over. When the team hit a creative roadblock, she encouraged us to think outside the box for a solution and willingly offered a few nudges in the right direction. During the time I worked with Jennifer, I always felt encouraged to push myself to the next level and genuinely felt her enthusiasm when I experienced successes of my own. As I continue building my career and begin managing designers of my own, I look to my experience with Jennifer and hope to emulate some of the same characteristics she has in order to make the designers in my life feel appreciated and respected.
