I began my journey as a yoga practitioner in search for a method of exercise that would strengthen and heal my body as a dancer. A competitive dancer from the age of three and both a teacher and choreographer from the age of 15, I have always been driven by the connection of music, movement, and the human body. Yoga brought the mind and the soul into this equation. I fell in love with yoga the minute I stepped onto my mat in my first CorePower class. After being accepted to the University of Texas, I moved to Austin from my hometown of San Diego, California. CorePower was the only consistent part of my life during this transition. I gravitated towards yoga and yearned for ways to deepen my practice. Deciding to become an instructor and to become a part of the CPY family was one of the best decisions I could have made during those transformative years. Trained in Power Vinyasa (200 hour RYS), Yoga Sculpt (60 hour), and Core Cardio Circuit formats. Show less
