Jamil was my manager at Two Octobers for 1.5 years when I started at the company as a digital marketing specialist until I was promoted to digital marketing manager. Having Jamil as my manager was crucial to developing the foundation I needed to effectively manage SEM accounts. He worked with me constantly to create specialized learning opportunities for me to grasp key PPC concepts, from explaining foundational optimizations such as SQR’s and manual bidding strategies, to more complex optimizations such as ad group segmentation and more. We worked together on a quarterly company goal group to develop training modules and an onboarding process for new employees which has improved and organized the way new hires are welcomed into Two Octobers. We also worked on our own goal group to clean up and organize our internal project management system which improved efficiency for the company. Jamil is a very experienced and skilled digital marketing professional who’s exceptional in SEM and also well-versed in SEO. His strongest abilities as a manager is his capability of breaking down the complexities of PPC to foundational blocks for specialists he manages. I also appreciate his attentiveness to my own career growth in the time we had together, his understanding of my learning curve and supported me to address any client management issues I encountered. I would consider Jamil one of the best managers I’ve ever had.
