After coming back to the United Kingdom and struggling to find employment, I was brought into this role via the government Kickstart scheme. I was working both under the Headteacher of the school, and the CEO and Director of B.I.S Solutions. I would assist in the daily running of the school, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, their contracted ICT support would be on-site allowing me to assist and learn more backend and in-depth procedures. Following this role, I was brought into B.I.S Solutions as a new member of the team. Responsibilities: • Providing service to those around the school on a variety of ICT-based issues and queries. • Assistance in the installation of new education-based hardware i.e. Smartboards and Projectors. • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software used in education. • Assisting in the administration of extra-curricular activities through the summer holiday break. • Acting as an extra Teaching Assistant for every lesson that takes place in the ICT suite. • Experience working with Office 365 admin to administrate ICT accounts for the school. • Ensuring the IT Suite and Laptop Trolleys are in an organised and usable manner.
