      I enjoyed the opportunity to work on one of Hawthorne's largest assets located in Greensboro. The asset has a large, strong team that I was privileged to work with for almost a full year. I hated to leave such a great organization, but the opportunity I was offered was too good to pass up. Thank you to everyone with Hawthorne for giving me a chance to work with such great people. While with Hawthorne, the team I worked with performed everyday to provide the best service possible to our residents and owners. I worked to keep the vacant units scheduled for market ready status so our leasing staff would have product available to lease. I worked with our maintenance teams to best assign work to the individual team members with the strongest skill sets for each task. I worked my way up to Supervisor and when the opportunity to advance to Regional Maintenance Director presented itself, I was more than willing to take on the role. My brief time as an RMD gave me the pleasure of helping maintenance teams, located in 8 states, find a way to embrace policy and better serve their residents. A great organization is only as good as the great people working for them. I am grateful to have been a part of the success of so many. I groomed my replacements at the asset I supervised and one of those co workers is still leading the maintenance team to this day.
