As the head of the events department at Montecito Restaurant, we executed over 425 events per year, alongside a very busy a la carte service. There would often be all 5 rooms running independently and simultaneously. This was no small feat for the management team. James was my go to for all event related management as his skills in client relations is seriously at another level. I have never received so many compliments from our event clients as I did when James was spearheading the event. His level of commitment to ensuring the customer experience was met is unparalleled. In addition, ALL of the staff loved James. He treated the staff with fairness, compassion and genuine kindness but also knew when to take appropriate measures in discipline.
