      I performed my Master's Thesis project in Anna-Liisa Levonen's group which studies the role of transcription factor Nrf2 in cancer and atherosclerosis. The main goals of the project were to isolate monocytes from human blood, differentiate them into macrophages and study the role of Nrf2 in the polarization of macrophages.
