      I worked in the raw milk laboratory testing the quality of milk received straight from the farms. These tests included the following (but were not limited to); testing pH, freezing point, fat content. Following my exposure to the raw milk laboratory, I spent time in the microbiology department as well. Here I assisted in testing the microbial load of all the products made the day prior, conducted shelf life testing on products as well as did environment swabs.
