  In summer 2016, I spent four months at a bookstore (So Book, in Qingdao, China) as an activity organizer and manager. This job provided me with my first hands-on experience in management. I witnessed the damage of inefficient human-resource management, which could cause negative effects to both the company and its staff. This experience motivated me to develop my intellectual abilities to become a manager who can take labour rights seriously. • Successfully planned, oversaw, and managed 80+ on-site live events with an average of 50+ audiences. • Selected speakers for TedxShinan, cowrote inspirational speeches, and managed this nonprofit devoted event. • Founded and lectured a weekly English Club with 20-30 children attended.
