Designed and built laboratory for cross-functional testing between PPE, Tactical, and Commercial divisions. Capabilities include tensile testing, bulk environmental testing -60C to 120C with controlled RH %, fixed velocity fluid splatter testing, heat flow testing for gloves and bulk materials dry and wet, air flow testing, and particle penetration testing, and more. Wrote testing protocol to standardize all R&D and QC testing for PPE Division. Worked with team to create protocol format and report standardization. Protocols based on 16CFR1610 and ASTM F2100 package for medical devices approved by the FDA and CDC NIOSH. Tactical division tests run to various MIL specs as per customer/DOD requirements. Commissioned testing equipment capable of meeting EN 511, ASTM F1868, and ISO 11092 standards for primarily assessing heat flow and cold weather capabilities. Created heavily controlled fluids for fixed velocity testing, controlling for specific gravity, viscosity, and opacity. Built machine capable of using said fluid and meeting ASTM F1862 with set volume and pressure. Hold position on Safety Council helping to develop company wide safety policy, procedure, and practices.
