I worked as an assistant in the project “Word Recognition and Language Learning in Children”. I used various methods of finding and recruiting test subjects (monolingual British speakers). I tested the subjects’ word recognition abilities by creating fantasy objects of different shapes and colours by using the software Spore. I conducted statistical and phonetic analyses using the speech analysis programmes Praat and SPSS. I worked as an assistant in the project “Word Recognition and Language Learning in Children”.
