Nov 2018 - Jan 2021
When I moved from Coordination to Management, I was given the opportunity to recruit an Assistant who quickly progressed into a Coordinator under my leadership and with the increased workload, we recruited another Assistant. I worked with this team, onboarding them to their new roles and encouraged Learning and Development together to create a great, close-knit team, of whom I am still in regular contact with and am very proud of. I also worked closely with producers and directors to deliver projects and was present in development meetings, through to final sign off meetings with clients. Responsible for managing the production team, recruiting crew members as well as sourcing locations, contributors, costume and art department as required. I am skilled at creating and managing both budgets and production schedules. I have carried out risk assessments for a wide variety of shoots including large studio sets and smaller on-location shoots. My job is to ensure that the production runs smoothly and that all stakeholders are happy, which I really enjoy and am very happy to go the extra mile to ensure this. Show less

Production Coordinator

Jun 2015 - Nov 2018
When the opportunity to progress to Coordinator from my Assistant role arose, I took on the additional responsibilities as well as maintaining my current ones. These new responsibilities included speaking to crew members and supporting the Production Manager in all aspects of production including booking travel, accommodation and catering for all crew members as well as attending shoots when required and logging shoot days. I was also appointed a key holder for the company and was trained in First Aid so that I could be a nominated First Aider on shoots. I was also responsible for all paperwork that needed to be completed including licensing, post production paperwork and Clearcast submissions. Show less

Production Assistant

Nov 2014 - Jun 2015
I started working at Lion Eyes Television as a university graduate and took every opportunity to learn in this role. I assisted all members of the team with any support they needed and attended shoots when required. I was responsible for managing the company calendar; booking in all visitors and provided hospitality. I was the first point of contact for the company by being responsible for answering the telephone and developed an excellent telephone manager.

Production Managed a location shoot with Avatar as one of my final projects at university. The project was to be used as pitch material for AvatarTVGroup. The filming took place at Ordsall Hall between 10pm and 2am and was for a ghost hunting pitch, so involved lots of filming in the dark and coordination of ghosts!
