In my role, I work closely with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and goals. I assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and transportation. Additionally, I provide companionship and emotional support, promoting social interaction and engagement.

At Alpha Omega Age Care & NDIS, we are committed to delivering high-quality care that is respectful of our clients' cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds. As a research assistant at Western Sydney University, my role is to support the research activities of faculty members, researchers, and graduate students across various disciplines. My responsibilities include assisting with the design and implementation of research studies, conducting literature reviews, collecting and analysing data, preparing reports and presentations, and managing research-related administrative tasks. Literature review: The attitude, knowledge, and perception of social work students towards working with older people. Project Title: Ageing and the transition of care for persons with disabilities and their carers from minority migrant communities. Project Title: Marriage payments and associated abuses among Middle Eastern, African, and South Asian immigrants in Australia: An online national survey. This study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at Western Sydney University. The ethics reference number is: H14524 I worked closely with faculty members and researchers to ensure that research projects are conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines and university policies. I am also responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records of research data and materials. As a Community Worker at Karabi Community & Development Services, I played a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals and communities to achieve their full potential. my primary responsibility was to work with community members to identify their needs and to develop and implement programs and services that meet those needs. My work was to collaborative with community members, volunteers, and other organisations to plan and implement community development initiatives, such as educational programs, social activities, health and wellness programs, and advocacy campaigns. You would also be responsible for engaging with local stakeholders, such as government agencies, non-profit organisations, and businesses, to build partnerships and secure funding for community programs. In addition, I also provided individual support to community members, such as counselling, referrals to other services, and assistance with navigating government systems. I was also responsible for maintaining accurate records of all community programs and services and for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of those programs. I also developed deep commitment to social justice and community development. My excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people played a major role. My experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as a strong understanding of government systems and community resources came into hand. Overall, the role of a Community Worker at Karabi Community & Development Services is challenging and rewarding, it was one of the best opportunities I got to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities, while also contributing to the overall well-being and development of the wider community.
