When looking for sales talent, I've found that there are two key factors that nearly always correlate to success in the role. Hunger & Humility. If a sales person is hungry, they will do their best every day. They will take ownership. They will get better. There's a lot of hungry sales people. It's hard to find someone who can be equally hungry and humble though. Without the humility, they don't take feedback, they don't see advice, they don't help their teammates. When I met Griffin, it was evident immediately that he was and is hungry and humble. If you look at his track record, you see it. He has succeeded in all of his ventures and he has helped others along the way. He is one of the most hard working, fearless sales people I've ever met. He's great teammate. And he's the rep that you don't have to worry about. He's going to do his best because he cares. He doesn't need you to motivate him - he's as motivated as they come.
