During the 2020 pandemic my partner and I decided it was time for something else. So we bought a used van and converted it into a tiny home on wheels. Connected intelligent Enterprise is a new cross BU at Ordina. We strive to create solutions between smart things, new technologies and existing data hubs and ERP. Ordina is a one stop shop for such initiatives and through our own experts and solid partnerships we can guarantee a successful delivery and assured ROI. This initiative is the result of our successful projects at Proximus, Bombardier, Touring and IVAGO where we successfully married classic IT with new technologies like cloud and IoT. Show less

    • Practice Manager

As practice manager, I'm responsible for the personal development and coaching of about 20 technical SAP consultants. I organize knowledge sessions and try to facilitate knowledge sharing between consultants.

    • SAP Consultant/Cloud architect/Project Manager
      • Sep 2014 - Aug 2021

At Ordina I have the opportunity to work with new SAP technologies. We are currently building solutions based on SAPUI5, Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, Mobile Services and related services. We strive to help our customers improve their efficiency using various technologies from SAP and other vendors. Using our value based discovery approach we are able to identify pains & gains at our customer and deliver high value applications in an agile way.I am mostly involved during the complete life cycle of a project, from presales to delivery. On smaller projects I develop code myself, but on bigger ones I also act as scrum master/project manager. But I never stay away too long from the technical side. Because of this high involvement, I have very good knowledge about the SAP Cloud offerings and licensing, and what is exactly needed to meet the goal of the project. One of the most interesting projects I've worked on is Smart Reel Tracking at Proximus, where we use LoRa sensors and SAP IoT services and Application Enablement + custom development on CloudFoundry to track reels with copper cable in the field. Projects: 2012 - 2013: OGA (Stad Antwerpen/City of Antwerp) - Implementation of PA and OM modules for approx. 15k employees. 2013 - ... : Delhaize - Currently building a prototype for distribution centers I started at NGA because of my interest in complex business software. During my time at NGA I had the opportunity to work on various projects. I have experience with SAP HCM Time, Personnel Administration and Organizational management, and know quite a deal about ABAP programming. On functional level, I have been involved in analysis and creation of blueprints, follow-up on development and regression and user acceptance testing. This includes guiding off- and near-shore developers, creating test scripts and assisting in the development of testing strategies. I would like to grow further in this branche, extending my knowledge both technically and functionally. Show less

I was responsible for small IT project for small businesses. Projects ranges from creating websites to installing servers and Voip systems. I expanded my knowledge of open source systems and learned a lot about dealing with the individual needs of the customer. I introduced Ubuntu, Trixbox and Vmware virtualization into the company. I also set up and maintained a hosted Zimbra mail system. Most of the projects I worked on my own, so I learned to be problem solving, analytic and persistent. Since 2011 my activities at Teknoza / OfficeXL have diminished due to my full time job as SAP consultant. However I'm still coming in the picture for disaster recovery and securing servers. I was a team member of Karel de Grote University College's Formula Student Racing Team. The goal of the formula student competition is to build a small formula racing car. With 4 other classmates, I was responsible for the electronics in the car. I learnt how to design and manufacture PCB's, program industrial micro controllers and work in a team. This was a great experience, and eventually we left a great impression at the event in Silverstone, UK. I was a team member of Karel de Grote University College's Formula Student Racing Team. This was a 3 week during student contract. I assisted the full-time network administrators in their daily tasks. Which was mostly problem solving. Despite the fact that I only worked there 3 weeks, I very much liked the job. Especially when I was able to help people solve their problems. This was a 3 week during student contract. I worked in the new Financial Center in Sint-Niklaas during August 2007 as a student job. I was responsible for contacting transferred and new clients and inviting them for a personal welcome meeting. I also took care of the archive with the files of the clients. Off the record I helped out with the IT in the office. I solved several small problems like connection problems and printers.
