Gerry delivered a top quality event for the IRDG Innovation Skillnet on the topic of Mastering Service Design and Journey Mapping. This was delivered online over 2 half days. Facilitating over zoom is tough but Gerry’s fun attitude, depth of knowledge & experience, interactive activities and responsiveness kept everyone so well engaged. The attendees came from a range of different companies but he managed to create an inclusive and collaborative learning experience that facilitated good discussions amongst the group. I’ve received lots of positive feedback from the participants, which is the ultimate vote of confidence!

I have recently worked with Gerry and was his Product Owner on a large transformation project, working with Gerry is a pleasure. Not only does he make sure he works in a positive, engaging and collaborative work environment but he excels at what he does. There is much more to what Gerry brings to a squad or project than just his Design work, he has a wealth of experience which his colleagues want to learn from as a result of his enthusiasm and energy, he also drives that enthusiasm amongst his colleagues, constantly driving the right behaviours within the team Gerry easily adopts the mantle of mentor for his peers and has an approachable personality that enables him to quickly adapt the mantel. Gerry’s desire to deliver is driven by a need to place the customer at the heart of everything that is delivered – always challenging to ensure that every angle/need has been considered to support the customers in what they need to achieve without compromising the business objectives. He is not afraid to challenge the existing norms and ask people to step outside of their comfort zone to place the customer at the heart of the design work. Never happy unless the design has been placed in front of customers for their validation before build effort is completed.
