  Working for Perth Heat gave me a lot of experience in the industry that I wanted to work in. Although it was unpaid work as well as seasonal it help broaden my knowledge of the events industry. Even in my first few days working for the organisation, I was setting up stadium activations as well as being on the field running the entertainment throughout the innings. This had me working with more experienced Event Managers as well as shadowing the CEO. Throughout this role, I was also trusted immediately being given tasks and being held reliant on them and the team that I was put in charge of.

  Elite was my first job when I moved to Perth. In my six-year tenure, I was able to learn a lot in customer service at first only doing minor pick-ups and drop-offs. Now in my later years of work for the company I am one of its most trusted employees being the second in command for the Western Australian branch. I am now responsible for store closures and installations as well as training new employees. Additionally, I am now one of the first points of contact for state and area managers if they wish to book pick-ups or send in complaints. On weekends Elite also doubles as an event hire company where we deliver and set up small events and festivals.
