I had the pleasure of working with Florence Frenkel for more than a decade. Within that time I found Flo to be a dedicated professional. Her content knowledge is deep and she can easily integrate new ideas which she is always willing to share with her colleagues. Her ideas on how to reach the English language learners were quite helpful to many teachers in the building. Her classroom management style is strict, but fair. Everyone in her room respects her authority without ever feeling that they have no voice. In my opinion, each of her students was lucky to have her as their math teacher.
