I've had the pleasure of working with Felipe on a professional level for a few years and he's been great with following up and servicing my clients for their home needs. That's all you can ask for as a loan officer. Looking forward to continue to work with Felipe as I know my clients will always be in good hands.

I had the pleasure of working with Felipe and seeing him evolve as a leader over a 6 year period. His take-charge attitude and yet subtle confident approach coupled with his determination and competitiveness presented him the opportunity to develop his management skills as a sales manager and then as a branch manager. Felipe is not only creative but possesses the rare skill of being able to communicate his ideas and their associated benefits, which resulted in full-buy in from the department staff that generated results. I am confident that his work ethic and attention to details allows him to continue to deliver a level of service that every customer should be accustomed to.

I guide clients through each critical phase of both buying and selling property. Buying a home can be a very complex process and for most it will be the largest purchase they will ever make in their life. While selling one can also be a daunting task due to the level of uncertainty and sways in the real estate market. My goal is always to help my clients along the way by setting the right expectations, answering any questions they may have and negotiating for them the best price possible. Below are some daily activities that I perform: * Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) — an estimate of the home's value compared with others. This differs from an appraisal in that property currently for sale may be taken into consideration. (competition for the subject property) * Total Market Overview — an objective method for determining a home's value, where a CMA is subjective. * Exposure — Marketing the real property to prospective buyers. * Facilitating a Purchase — guiding a buyer through the process. * Facilitating a Sale — guiding a seller through the selling process. * Facilitating leasing for both lessee's and lessor's. * Preparing contracts and leases. As a Mortgage Banker I negotiate purchase contracts, contingency and closing dates with clients and client’s attorney’s. I counsel my clients by providing them with information for home financing options depending on the real estate market conditions, financial need, and lending qualifications. My main focus is to help my clients with the purchase and refinance of their primary homes and investment property. Personally, I truly enjoy helping out first time home buyers with the purchase of their home, it is an extremely rewarding experience! Lastly, I like to be a reliable point of contact for my clients and business partners alike. I do not see the day of "closing" as the end of a transaction but rather the beginning of a long healthy business relationship. Show less

    • Sales Manager - Assistant Branch Manager
      • Mar 2011 - Oct 2011

As a Sales Manager I had many of the responsibilities of a branch manager but with more focus on sales behaviors, execution and overall employee development. I was able to focus much less on the logistics of running a branch on a daily basis with the presence of a branch manager to oversee those issues as they arose. Although short lived this was a very enjoyable role as I was able to put my full energy into a couple of my passions; sales and helping people. Here are a few of my other duties in the role:• In charge of planning and running daily morning huddle with entire staff to set plan for the day. • Responsible for managing a staff of nearly 40 employees.• Scheduling staff appropriately according to branch needs. • Analyzing P&L and weekly sales measures in search of trends. • Leading joint call blocks between bankers and business partners in an effort to improve business results and strengthen business relationships.• At the helm of driving sales in the branch by setting goals, coaching to the right behaviors and recognizing positive results with the bankers and tellers.
