Nice Works are a specialist race management company, organising more than 200 races across the UK each year. As Course Director I am responsible for the build, derig and placement of marshals on the course. My role requires great attention to detail and memory to allow the most appropriate placement of course directions and signage. Assistant Head of Operations

5 days of event build across two separate live sites including Kew Gardens, whilst taking in two historic Royal Palaces, two London Boroughs, 34 miles worth of route install to deliver a 10k, half marathon, marathon, 5k and Kids Mile race over 2 live event days. Role included mapping and installing the kids mile and 5k course. During the week my role includes managing social media channels, creating content and interacting with our participants. Operations Assistant

Assisting the delivery of 20+ athletic events with up to 3,000 participants, including venues such as Hyde Park, Good Wood Racecourse and Hampton Court Palace. Roles included assisting the rig and derig of the course set up and events village. Also managing a team of volunteers during the events. Field Operator

The role included setting up and testing connections on build days, working closely with Seiko and their equipment. Event days included working with British Athletic officials to confirm data and insure in-field score boards were operating smoothly.
