  Plant biotechnology lab I had the possibility to work at the IBMCP (institute of plant molecular and cellular biology) at the polytechnic university of Valencia (Spain). The lab was focused on biotechnology and plant breeding of cultivated species, especially plant cell culture and genetic improvement. We work on different plant species from cultivated to ornamental. The techniques used and biotechnological approach had the intent to obtain plants resistant to salty environment, water stress, improve the general resistance to parasites and malignant microorganism, improve quality and nutritional characteristics.
