  Contribute to Music Searching Libguide: A database for music students which lists call number ranges and library locations for finding music, books, and resources associated with their fields of study and interests. Process incoming music library gift collections by determining which items are already in library possession, discarding duplicate copies, and creating minimal bibliographic records for new items. Assist with sorting, receiving, PAM binding, and processing of around 250 scores and audio materials in order to prepare items for circulation each month. Manage the workflow of sending 100 to 150 newly cataloged items to off-site bindery services each month. Check for print accuracy and item condition upon the items’ return. Assist with special projects including semester by semester course reserve collection, management of featured music items lists and displays, and book/score repairs. Help patrons at the music library service desk to find print or audio materials and access library resources. Sort and shelve around 100 items each shift. Show less
