I was awarded the Museum Work Experience Grant from The Costume Society to work with The Silk Museum’s menswear collection for two months over the summer of 2022. - Condition checking nearly 150 individual objects and uploading the information and photographs onto the Modes database. - I interpreted my research and discoveries into weekly social media posts for the museum’s Textiles Thursday posts. - I adapted existing mannequins to display a Pierrot outfit from the collection, which I chose and write the object label for. - To complete the project I worked on an online exhibition to interpret the menswear collection to the wider public.
