Completed a 7 week clinical placement with the Orthotics department at the Alfred and Caulfield Hospital. Treating acute and long term patients and working in both inpatients and outpatient services. Fitting, fabricating and modifying a range of prefabricated and custom orthoses for a variety of patient presentations to optimise care. Areas of focus included spinal fracture orthoses, ABI related orthoses and working in the diabetic foot clinic.
