I had the pleasure of working with Eli to identify the right students for our research program. When I met him, he was the Deputy Academic Director of the international department of Beijing Number 8 High School. While he was there, the department's reputation began to rapidly improve from a decent school to an elite international program. His work in formulating curriculum, guiding students to realize their academic talents find their academic passions and coordinate faculty towards delivering quality education. Having had the opportunity to ask Eli's students about him, I learned that many found motivation to perform beyond their own expectations based on his caring and persistent support. Eli combines a complete dedication to education and student development with a dedicated worth ethic and cross-cultural understanding that makes exceptional academic improvement possible in students and entire departments!
