Stratford upon Avon I created the Newson Health Wellbeing and Menopause Centre to allow women to receive unbiased, evidence-based advice and treatment for their perimenopause and menopause. We provide person-centred, holistic care and treatments to reduce unnecessary suffering and to improve the future health of women.

    • Founder of Newson Health Research and Education
      • Sep 2019 - Present

As part of the mission to improve the future health of women, we reinvest some of the profits for the clinic to fund ground-breaking research in the menopause space.

After setting up the Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre, I quickly realised that no matter how many menopause clinics we had across the country, it wouldn’t be able to help all the women who needed it and so something had to change about the way help was being offered. That’s when the balance-app was born. I want to flip the balance of power and directly give women the knowledge and expertise they need so they feel empowered to get the treatment that’s right for them.

I set up the Newson Health Menopause Society for healthcare professionals and experts who are passionate about improving women’s experience of the perimenopause and menopause and researching the role of hormones in disease prevention and future health. We aim to promote and provide continuous learning in evidence-based perimenopause and menopause management and to connect multi-disciplinary professionals to share and promote perimenopause and menopause best practice.
