Jul 2016 - Present
Director, IVF Matters Jul 2016 - present I founded IVF Matters, the UK’s first online fertility clinic, in 2016, having identified a need for nationally available, easily accessible and personal fertility care. Exploring fertility is an emotional and often daunting prospect, so my goal was to peel away the layers of complexity in the mainstream system to improve the patient pathway and give people the opportunity to learn more. Under the umbrella of IVF Matters, I offer advice and information to help people make informed decisions. I provide personalised fertility care, carry out patient assessments, put together individual treatment plans, and perform clinical procedures. My clients communicate directly with me to ensure continuity of care from an empathetic expert who will support them through their fertility journey. I have forged important alliances with specialists covering male fertility, nutrition, counselling, weight management and genetics to ensure I can offer the best overall care. I also collaborate with the biggest laboratory in the country, The Doctors Laboratory, and national third-party ultrasound providers. Results of tests carried out across the country are shared via the IVF Matter portal, making the process faster and more user-friendly. Consultant Gynaecologist; Specialist in Reproductive Medicine

2012 - 2016
At the Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH), I worked as a clinical consultant specialising in fertility, helping people with fertility issues and performing clinical procedures. As well as helping many people to become pregnant, one of my most significant achievements during this time was leading the relocation of the practice from Kings Cross to Great Portland Street in London. This project involved finding the premises, working with the architect to design the clinic, gaining HFEA and CQC licences and then managing the move to the new premises. Show less

At CARE Fertility, I conducted patient consultations and performed clinical procedures, including egg retrievals and embryo transfers. I also set up the natural cycle IVF programme for this clinic to align with the growing practice of moving away from drug-related fertility protocols for women with low ovarian reserve. This was my first job in assisted reproduction, and I was privileged to work with and learn from some of the most respected leaders in the field. My mentors ensured that I learnt everything I needed to know to become a fertility specialist, from clinical skills such as egg retrieval to how to communicate effectively and sensitively with patients. The science fascinated me, and being able to realise people’s dreams to become parents after sometimes years of heartache and struggle enthralled me. I could see that the outcome was always bigger and more impactful than just physical, so it was here that I gained my passion for working in assisted conception. Show less
