Few people have the opportunity to learn from a professor who is also a coach and mentor—but I did when I was a student of Dr. Gamble. I had the pleasure of learning from Dr. Gamble for one year at Shorter University, attending several of her classes both online and on campus. Dr. Gamble’s ability to relate concepts from the textbook to real life applications was unlike any I’ve seen before and made a dramatic difference in my level of understanding and ease of learning. She makes her students’ education the forefront of her priorities at Shorter University and made sure everyone was on the same page and that no one was left behind. She would talk with us individually and in groups to make sure we were understanding the material taught in class and also online. Dr. Gamble did not hesitate when I reached out to her for personal professional advice and coaching. She gave me a lot of insight on being a professional and also with networking. As a professor and mentor, Dr. Gamble earns my highest recommendation.
