The project involve using 2D material nanopores (molybdenum disulfide) and ultrathin silicon nitride nanopores to study translocations of DNA in aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. One of the major issues inhibiting the use of solid state nanopores as rivals to biological pores in genome sequencing is the too high speed of DNA translocation through the pore. The aim of the project is to slow down the DNA translocation by using different solvents. The development of DNA translocations in non-aqueous solvents would have an impact on both DNA sequencing and DNA storage technologies. The project involve a discovery of Clean-room work, transfer and preparation of 2D nanopore membranes, dissolution of DNA in room temperature non-aqueous solvent , manipulation of solid-state and 2D material nanopores, in situ drilling of 2D nanopores using an electrochemical method, Transmission Electron Microscopy observation of nanopore, electrical characterization of nanopores on a custom home-made experimental set-up, and performing DNA translocation experiments using nanopores in aqeueus and non-aqeueus solutions. Five months internship working on screening vegetal extract (Antoferine) activity for creation of a new natural product of biocontrol against fungus (B.cinerea, P.italicum, V.inaequalis, A.niger). In vitro and in vivo antifungal test against 8 different fungus. Molecular characterisation of the extract by using Liquid chromatography combine to mass spectrometers. Fraction of the extract. Creation of nano-probe ruthenium complexe and study of collisional quenching between ruthenium and oxygen. Creation of ratiometric O2 sensor to measure fungal respiration by using a CMOS camera and a sensor foil with embed of ruthenium complex. Show less

Two months of internship in the institute of Agro-polymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies working on the identification of polyphenols and more precisely the stilbenoïde present in grape vine by combine High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrum. Moreover I am working on Eco-extraction using green chemestry method and molecular printing. Finally I work in collaboration with Antofénol Society to study, create and produce new Natural Deep Eutectic Solvent (NADES) Two months of internship in the institute of Agro-polymer Engineering and Emerging Technologies working on the identification of polyphenols and more precisely the stilbenoïde present in grape vine by combine High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrum. Innovative biotechnology concept. The goal is to create a cartilage by 3D bio-printing. To do this we have studied a bio-ink based on silica crosslinking hydrogel and stem cell. The skills acquired: - Writing a scientific article, summarizing a project - Study of cross-linking processes and an innovative process - Observation of cell culture in superpressurized room - Observation of the manipulation and the processes to use a 3D bio-printer in biotechnology Innovative biotechnology concept.
