The role leads a major change management initiative in transitioning the organisation to an activity based working model of working. Cardinia Shire moved to new offices in Officer in November 2015 and rethinking the way it was working was a major thrust of the transition. The role links the physical (building) with the virtual (technology) and the behavioral (culture) aspects to bring about a more flexible and collaborative way of working. The relocation occurred over a weekend with minimal impact on staff and more importantly the Cardinia community. The project has been a success by any measure with lower turnover, increased staff satisfaction, improved efficiencies, better collaboration and a significant reduction in paper use. Show less
