General Manager and Marketing Manager
-
Apr 2021 - Aug 2021
While maintaining my Marketing Manager duties, I expanded my position within the business to include the role of General Manager. These duties included managing the staff of both Appalachian Outfitters and Kendall Cliffs, roughly thirty employees. I was responsible for all aspects of staffing including hiring, firing, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention. I created new policies in conjunction with ownership to ensure a safe and successful work environment. I worked with my staff to create, host, and run events as well as scheduling outside events to help expand our reach and influence in the local community. On top of expanding my role in the stores, I was also able to expand my role behind the scenes. I was in charge of overseeing several outside companies that were contracted in to help with digital advertising, email marketing, search engine optimization, market identification and segmentation, and overall brand exposure.

Marketing Manager

Sep 2020 - Apr 2021
In charge of growing and involving our community in our online presence through the use of social media, email marketing, and advertising. On top of running our social media accounts and creating email marketing newsletters, I created promotional material for local radio advertisement, magazine print advertisement, and assets to be used as spotlights for our store in various other medias. I worked hand in hand behind the scenes in improving and optimizing on our online webstore to drive sales, make our store more appealing, and enhance the overall experience of our customers.

Breaker/Shipping and Receiving Clerk
-
Jan 2013 - Jun 2013
I worked as a breaker for a little over four months picking bundles for orders then either adding or taking off sheets of metal so an order would be the right weight. I then spent about two months in the shipping and receiving office taking, tracking, and printing orders to be picked as well as scheduling and coordination drivers for pick up and deliveries.
