    • Team Assistant (PA to Parish Clergy)

Cromer Parish Church is the largest Parish in the Norfolk Diocese, I assisted the Vicar, Curate, Assistant Curate, Minister, Youth Minister and a large team of retired, yet active clergy. A vast majority of my work was confidential and at times, highly sensitive. I was first point of contact for weddings, funerals and baptisms, as well as between members of the community and Clergical Team. This required good customer skills, empathy, understanding and at times, a good ear. I organised special Church and community events, fundraisers, liaised with the Diocese, news papers on PR opportunities and promoting the Church whenever possible. Being responsible for the day to day running of the Parish Office, I dealt with all email and telephone enquiries from the website, as well as those coming in through the public office. Monitoring complaints, financials and managing the extensive electronic Churches diaries for both external and internal bookings. Overseeing the Print Team was at times challenging, as we produced all our own advertising material and Church Service literature; from design to final print. This position was demanding, varied, interesting and very rewarding. This summary is in brief detail only...
