On his own initiative he proposed and implemented a number of significant improvements to the Editor Profile template at the AGU web site, as well as to the AGU electronic manuscript submission system. Being a conscientious and solution-oriented employee, when Dawit noticed that publication fees were not being collected during the transition of one of the AGU journals from the old platform to the new one, he took the initiative to design and implement the workflow that ensured that the company did not lose the revenue it was entitled to.
