  My extensive teaching at Griffith University continues to support both Voice and Instrumental strands within the Jazz Area. I teach postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Music,Graduate Certificate (Performance and Vocal Pedagogy), Graduate Diploma and Master of Music Studies (Performance and Vocal Pedagogy). These are sessions of individual tuition where singers are mentored to develop the necessary skills to effectively and efficiently teach classroom and private studio vocal music. I bring my expertise in composition, harmony and arranging to students of all contemporary styles (including Jazz, Pop, Indy, Rock etc). Through my working knowledge of the Australian live music industry I am able to train students to be multi- skilled musicians who meet industry standards of employability on graduation. At QCGU, my teaching encompasses all year levels (undergraduate and postgraduate) in Jazz/Contemporary Voice and Jazz/Contemporary Piano. At postgraduate level I teach enrolled student in the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Music Studies programs . Across 16 years, I have given collaborative support to the Head of Jazz Area and Coordinator Contemporary Voice in the development of course outlines for Bachelor of Music (Jazz studies), Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Music.
