Interior Plant Specialist

In this position I was responsible for the procurement of premium interior and tropical plants out of the southern United States for resale to the Florist, Garden Centre, Interiorscape and mass market trades. This involved providing training and product information to the Westbrook sales team, meeting with key accounts, and developing marketing materials to aid in the sale of interior and seasonal tropical plants. I was also responsible for launching and branding of a new product line of hydro-culture interior plants. This was a challenging opportunity, as there was no existing market for hydro-culture interior plants. I oversaw the production and growing of 30000 sqft of hydro-culture greenhouse production,as well as procured all the raw materials for production. Much of my focus was devoted to working with Westbrook's creative staff on the development of point of purchase materials, consumer website, and sales support for the hydro-culture plants. Show less
