Undertook a broad range of duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the plant. Obtained the qualifications of Field Production Technician and Panel Production Technician after extensive training and assessment. Duties included but not limited to: Monitoring the process in the field and reporting via various reporting tools. Manual operation of valves and switching of pumps to direct product streams. Controlling road tanker filling operations. Taking samples and laboratory testing of samples. Monitoring and controlling the process via a SCADA system including communications with the Field Production Technician and Team Leader. Maintenance and repair of the continuous on stream Gas Chromatograph. Shutdown planning and organisation, including isolation lists and lock out tag out activities. Maintenance and repair of process control instrumentation, mechanical equipment and safety systems as required.
