I have worked with Dan as an employee, a client and a colleague/founder at three different companies: Lamplighter Studios, SGN and Tall Chair. In each of these different situations, Dan exhibited the highest amount of professionalism and innovation. His vast knowledge of the game industry and mobile space has enabled him to lead Tall Chair to create a magnificent product, the Active Reader. He has taught and mentored many great producers and designers. He encourages the very best of his teams and colleagues. He is one of the good eggs in the industry and I am glad to have had the opportunity to learn from him and work with him.

Dan is one of the best managers I've ever had. He is the only manager/CEO I know of who will go outside the bounds of his duties to make sure everything is moving forward in the smoothest way possible. Dan is a great manager because of his ability to listen to the feedback of his employees and to cater to their desires. If you needed it, he would do his best to provide it for you. He helped employees grow by allowing them to do what they were strong at (and to grow in that position). I do not have a comp sci degree, but he believed in my abilities and in-turn allowed me to focus on my engineering skills that most companies wouldn't even care about due to credentials. He put me in positions that allowed me to grow in other fields, making me a more well-rounded individual. On top of that he was also my mentor. During the most stressful of times he was always there to make things less tense for issues inside AND outside the office. He also facilitated in helping me get back to school. I don't know what more you can ask for from a CEO/manager. He just goes above and beyond his role and that is what's impressive to me.
