  I qualified as a ski instructor and donned the famous red jacket at the age of 17, whilst in my final year of school. Since then, I have worked with the ski school every winter, including 1 full season, for as long as my other commitments would allow. Although I hold a separate qualification for working with children, I predominantly instruct adults and teenagers on an individual and group basis. I specialise in teaching freestyle, a challenging form of acrobatic/aerial skiing. Aside from the personal discipline and organisation needed to maintain equipment and time schedules, ski instructing has allowed me to develop the interpersonal and leadership skills that stem from organizing multinational groups and individuals from a young age. Such activities also demand a high level of alertness and attention to detail in order to maintain a safe yet dynamic environment. Additionally, I have been able to greatly improve the quality of my conversational and professional French though interaction with clients and colleagues. Show less
