  PT Indo Mineralita Prima is a significant Lead and Zinc mine in Central Kalimantan ( www.imp-minerals.com ), acquired for $2.5 million, currently valued at $200 - $400 million. • Appointed to the Board of Directors as CFO by IndoChicora, becoming expert in matters pertaining to licensing, legal and corporate issues. • Negotiated terms to build a $180 million co-located Lead and Zinc processing plant with Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC). • Arranged terms with indigenous peoples to compensate traditional land rights, while establishing a Corporate Social Responsibility program (CSR).

  Founded, built, and led PT Code Jawa, which became Indonesia’s largest mobile media company for 9 years, creating an industry leading cross-operator platform. • Recruited a team of 150 colleagues and together grew media service and licensing revenue from $0 to over $30 million per year in three years with 25%+ net margins. • Established operational structures to create and market over 100 mobile media services on 6 different mobile operator media platforms (2 bult by Code Jawa). • Managed finances (serving as both CEO and CFO), implementing an in-house ERP combined with SAP to manage direct response TV advertising in real time. • Marketed services through TV and digital direct response using strict analytics to scale and determine spending, with an annual advertising budget of $12 million. • Maintained strong senior relationships with all of the mobile telecommunications operators in Indonesia, including Tekomsel, Indosat, and XL-Axiata. • 2020: Seed funded Veransa Group Incorporated (www.veransa.com), formed to consolidate the urban waste collection market in Central Florida, achieving funding of $40 million from private equity firm RFE Investment Partners ( www.rfeip.com ). • 2017: Seed funded PT Lobo Resources to identify, prove the resource, and arrange the acquisition of, PT Indo Mineralita Prima (see above). • 2013: Conceived and seed funded PT Cakrawala Agro Buana, a 10 MW biomass power plant to be built in SE Sulawesi, partnering with PT Nusantara Infrastructure ( www.nusantarainfrastructure.com ) which would providing $30 million funding. • 2012: Seed funded USEcogen LLC ( www.usecogen.com ), to develop renewable energy projects, including a 70 MW biomass power plant in Polk County, FL. • 2011: Purchased, restored, operated, and sold a 1,000 hectare tree plantation in West Sumatera, Indonesia, mastering the complexities of land management, fertilizer economics, agricultural labour, processing relationships, and hauling logistics.

  I co-founded PT Code Jawa with a team of programmers that had worked for me under Spotcast Communications. The key was a product I invented called "Al Quran Seller." The basis of this concept is that when introducing new technologies and experiences to consumer, it is critical to provide services that meet their most deeply felt needs. In Indonesia, which is an 85% Muslim population, about half of these people are deeply religious. I wanted to drive mobile media, because the telcos were doing terribly, so I created an idea that the most popular preaches would prepare daily messages explaining one verse of the Quran. The problem was that the service cost too much using mobile phones because at the time the cost per minute was around $.20. So I purchased and placed voice response units in each major city of Indonesia and then used the mobile phone to deliver a text message with a verse summary and their message ID for the day, and then people would use landline phones to hear the message. The result was a phenomenon. I actively encouraged anyone who was not affluent not to join, and more and more people joined. This transformed the mobile media industry, because previously, the telcos would pay 35% to the content provide, and then the telco would pick and choose which content to market. I told the telcos I wanted 65%, and I would do all marketing myself on TV and online. Since I was working with the most popular preachers in Indonesia, the telcos couldn't say no. This resulted in an explosion of popularity as we used TV judiciously to market the program, resulting in a model so successful, that every single telco changed its mobile media model to pay the content providers 65%. This led to a massive boom in mobile media in Indonesia, which resonated into one of the worlds' most dynamic and competitive digital media and commerce markets.

  • Co-founded Spotcast, a provider of a telco-grade media platform that transformed regular phones into nascent smartphones; acquired by Qualcomm subsidiary Leap Wireless International in 2001. • Invented, patented and led a talented team of programmers to build the platform. • Raised over $9 million of first stage capital, and then another $6.5 million VC capital from KKR and Torrent (under TPG management). • Installed with major Asian and European telcos, including Sintel, Cegetel, Smartone, People’s Phone, Telkomsel and XL-Axiata, with 20 others in the pipeline. • Grew the Company to 200 staff globally with 90 international employees.
